Denise Innes-Spencer is the Founder and Creative Director of The British School of Millinery in Cheltenham, England. Denise studied under Rose Cory and has been working in the field for over 25 years. She has collaborated with fashion and bridal designers such as Ben de Lisi, Jayne Boulton and Suzanne Neville and has also made hats for film and television. Denise’s first book, Tiara Headdresses , was published last year.

Monique Lee Hylands-White received her MA from London College of Fashion in 2006. Her hats have been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, L’Officiel, Schön!, Tatler UK and House of Coco. She is the Principal Lecturer overseeing the management of International Fashion Management and Marketing MBA, MSc and BA courses at Coventry University London Campus and the Founder of X Terrace fashion platform. Monique has organised and curated the Official London Hat Week Exhibitions since 2015 and has over 70,000 followers across 28 active social media accounts.

Carole Maher trained in England with Rose Cory and at the London College of Fashion before graduating from The Sydney Institute of Fashion Technology as a qualified Couture Milliner. She has pioneered the global introduction, research, development and distribution of thermoplastics in millinery and the fashion industry and is very passionate about innovation and development in millinery. She currently teaches workshops and lectures around the world, as well as in her own studio in Grose Vale, New South Wales, Australia.

Becky Weaver is the Senior Editor of HATalk e-magazine. Since taking over from HATalk Founder Ann Morse-Brown in 2009, Becky has edited and published more than 100 editions of HATalk. She is passionate about promoting the headwear industry worldwide and is the Co-Founder of London Hat Week, an event which brings hat enthusiasts from around the world together to network, learn and celebrate hats in London every 18 months.
