2018 HATalk Competition Entry

I am ready for my close up

Category: Traditional

Description

I used traditional hand sewn techniques to fuse different mediums together to create a hat. The lace is handsewn on to a wireframe and boarded with satin. The three hoops are fused together with hand stich and handmade satin truss underneath. The Swarovski crystals are fused on to the entire piece via glue or hot gun. I think fusion is written all over this piece and would.like to be considered for your consideration.
