I always received the Hat Talk emails, I admired the beautiful hats so much. However Chinese do not put on hats, so I made hats for my teddy bears, I had made some felt hats decorated with embroidery silk flowers for my teddy bears ,sometimes made hats for my young students. Hats are like a piece of Art, that’s why I admired it all the time.. ( I teach sewing in my studio, in schools and will have 2 sewing and pattern design courses in University soon )

As many of my students liked that hat , they said that is a Crystal Bling Bling hat .

So I try to enter it to your great hat competition, hoping people would like it.

Materials

• feather
• gauze
• glass beads

Techniques

• This headpiece, was made of gauze , embroidered glass beads, hand made gauze flowers with white feathers as an elegant head ornament for the bride or young ladies’
• The hat was made of a long piece of gauze, first sewed the beads closely at the forehead part like a band, and then twisted the rest part to form as a headpiece. then made some flowers with feather as the ornament.
• As I just made an white embroidery dressed artist bear, I found this white headpiece also fits her.
• the headpiece is long 13 cm x 8 cm.
