Summertime in The Alnwick Garden
Description
The Alnwick Garden, Alnwick, Northumberland is a collection themed gardens set within an 18th & 19th walled century garden and includes the most wonderful rose garden.
Taking its inspiration from the rose garden “Summertime in The Alnwick Garden” is a fusion of dip dyed tonal ranging from peach, to pale peach and through to deep pink. A fusion of rolled cotton organdie petals creating buds and gorgeous roses loosely fused to wire creating stems of roses and poignant rose buds. And finally layers of sinamay fused together through their inherent adhesive to create a natural mount for the finished exuberant bouquet of summer roses.
Summertime in The Alnwick Garden is a headpiece which epitomises very essence of summer, a fusion of sunlight, colour and happy days, and I believe totally fulfils the brief of Fusion.
