I have combined the traditional style of a Victorian toque hat, and an innovative animal design. The traditional methods of hand sewing and materials when contrasted with an animal for inspiration. making the hat unique. The design was inspired by the fabric I found and Victorians curiosity with exotic animals. So it’s the fusion of traditional making techniques and traditional shapes with giraffe inspired design.
