Equilibrium, I wanted to bring you into into the country side, Green fields, on a cool spring morning. I want the audience to feel calm, while enjoying the balance of nature and strong mustard, earth like tones.

Materials

• Felt
• Thread
• Stiffening glue
• Turkey feathers
• Millinery wire

Techniques

• Traditional blocking felt techniques, removed when set and wired to create structure and support.
• The piece is completely hand stitched.
• Cut and designed pattern slips of felt to roll and create feature.
• Turkey feathers curled with hair curler.
