Becoming

Description

The moment when something random or chaotic finds its point of equilibrium.

The lower pieces supporting the ones on top, and all the different pieces interacting with one another. The sum of the pieces speak now as a whole.

There is, however, a sensation of transience, pieces could move and find a new equilibrium and result in a different structure.

It has dynamic tension in the process of becoming.

Materials

  • Black wool fibres
  • Red wool fibers

Techniques

  • First I have created a headband using wire that I have then covered with cotton thread
  • Then I have created several wool balls using a wet felting technique and I have embroidered two of the black balls
