On the Edge
Description
Equilibrium
Two opposing forces in a perfect contiguous state of balance.
We all experience in our lives opposing conscious and unconscious thoughts; some of joy some of doubt. Yet we keep going by balancing these thoughts sometimes precariously but without one there can be no other.
I wanted to make a head piece that demonstrated perfect balance through predicament. How can two opposing forces on the edge of the precipice come together to form a stronger bolder force to be reckoned with.
The piece is a personal reflection of how thoughts of doubt can be used in a positive way to create a visual representation of what I can achieve and how I create bespoke head wear for my clients. Through the power of doubt comes inspiration and from inspiration comes creativity.
The diamantes represent my strength through my fragility.
