Calder Flowers
Description
Alexander Calder, father of the mobile, created movement and life within the previously inanimate world of sculpture. Precision and balance allowed his works to move in response to their surroundings, continually realigning themselves to find their new state of balance, their equilibrium.
This is my ode to Calder – suspended flowers that move and realign with the movement of the wearer – kinetic Millinery.
