Harebells at Dusk

Description

The Equilibrium theme shouted out balance, calmness and equality to me. I decided to use colour, form and assembly to represent a balance of opposing sides of a domed circular hat. I graduated the colour from dark blue to light lilac in the centre perfectly balanced from front to back.

The other opposing although equal aspect of the hat is the colour pallet being a balance of dichromatic opposites on the colour wheel basil green and purple/blue. This creates a real contrast.

I feel my designed hat creates a very calm and cool feeling while being structurally sound and symmetrically balanced.

The Scottish Harebells have all been hand made and painted and arranged in the grasses to evenly balance either side of the hat visually and structurally.
