Description

There is a moment just before one takes flight, when the force of gravity competes with the pull of release, (a leap of faith), Fear and exaltation are felt simultaneously, creating a balance of force…an equilibrium.

• Braided Hemp
• Wire
• Vintage Feathers
• Vintage Buttons
• Thread

Techniques

• Hand stitched braided hemp over covered wire.
• Feathers and buttons were sewn onto the headpiece after completion of the piece.
