Description

This headpeice is inspired by the balance between flower and leaf.

Materials

• Flowermaking

Techniques

• Blocked base
• Ribbon sewn into the base
• Hand stitched wire into circular piece of straw
• Hand molded and then steamed into shape
• This was then stitched onto the blocked base
• The beads were then prepped to be added to the hat with jewellery findings attached and then sprayed with rose gold paint
• These were then attached to the twisted part of the hat with stitching and glue
• The vintage flowers were then stitched into place
• Then finished with the vintage veiling
