Description
The term equilibrium made me think of balance. So I designed an asymmetrical brim on a light fixture to create the base. Then I created 2 smaller fascinators to create a balanced effect on top of the base fascinator. The smaller fascinators together conveyed a message of an offset balance to me. They were tipped to further emphasize the asymmetrical appearance. To carry the theme of light versus dark, I used Alencon lace motifs to add interest and height to balance the width of the design.
