Shining mind

Description

I interpreted the theme that
Equilibrium – opposing force – “closed mind and opened mind”

In my head piece, the blue part express closed mind. The image is “covered.”
Covered leaves and box.
However the mind is always has power and shining.
So I put a shining ball inside of the box.

Red-purple part express opened mind.
The image is “explosion.”
Fragments of light are flying anywhere that express with rhinestones and feathers.
And cutting felt to flower petals which image is blooming flower.

I think mind is opened and closed over and over. Then it takes the balance.
I would like to express that emotion.

• Blocking with hand made block
• Cutting felt by scissors and cutter
• Gluing rhinestones
• Sewing by hand
