Description
I wanted to create a simple sculptural ‘timeless’ design that spans the decades and could easily of been made and worn in the 1940’s or the modern day. The hat is created from wool felt, a material available in both eras and shaped over a wartime darning mushroom or today’s modern button block. The headpiece is also very elegant and ‘timeless’ as it could be worn to a daytime or evening event.
