Description

I’ve always loved cloche hats because of how timeless their design is. This hat I created was made for a collaboration I did with fashion designer Haus Page. The theme was Sea Sirens & Steampunk Pirates. The woman who wears this hat is confident, strong and mysterious.

Materials

• Wool Felt Capeling
• Fish Leather
• Vintage Brooch and Beads
• Grouse Feathers
• Hot Glue
• Thread

Techniques

• Blocked wool felt capeline, trimmed the brim down to a cloche style
• Cut out fish leather pieces and hot glued them onto hat
• Hand sewed the beads on to hat
• Glued on feathers
