Materials

• Black and pink jinsin
• Millinery wire
• Beaded flowers
• Needle and thread
• Blocked sinamay base
• Ribbon covered headband

Techniques

• Pleat both pieces of black and pink jinsin
• Wire edges of each piece of jinsin
• Overlap each piece of jinsin on itself and sew in place
• Arrange the two colours of jinsin on each other and sew in place
• Attach jinsin onto a blocked sinamay base
• Attach flower beading
• Mould wire to form desired shape
• Attach jinsin on a self-made wire ribbon-covered headband
• Everything hand-sewn in place
