- HATalk Issue 92: An Interview with Harvy Santos (specifically headband on Page 6)
Description
When I subscribed to the magazine, I was a beginner milliner, but since then I’ve participated a lot of workshops and my knowledge of making hats improved for a way more professional level. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic situation I had no chance to show these new techniques I’ve learnt, so this possibility for competition made me very happy and excited.
When I was turning over the HATalk magazines I’ve just found the inspirational photos of candy headbands. The idea of my project came immediately – a candyshop, where young girls are sorting of sweets.
As I am designing and sewing clothes since my childhood, I made the costumes, the hats and the headbands fit to the project and we asked the owner of a local candyshop to take some photos there.
