Description
I was very inspired by The Metallic Issue 174. I love the innovative ways unconventional materials can be used in millinery. I purchased a roll of metal yarn from a clearance store and was experimenting with knitting and crochet to see how it responds to the technique. The Hat of the Month as well as the tutorial "sparked" my creative juices. My goal was to create a sculptural headpiece that was edgy but looked soft, free-flowing, and fluid.
