From Business Professional to British Best: Suits Cast Shines at Royal Wedding

While Meghan Markle may have traded in her role on the hit television series Suits for life as a Duchess, her former co-stars were still a part of her big day. Traveling from Toronto to Windsor, the Suits stars in attendance wore their royal best.

The stars, just as chic off screen as they are on, didn’t miss a beat when it came to fashion. Wearing hats by renowned milliners and dresses from praised designers the cast suited up perfectly.

While Torres, who plays Jessica Pearson in the legal drama, chose a simple hat for the royal affair, her entire look was still glamorous and elegant. Designed by Louise Green Millinery, her nude fedora allowed her dress to stand out. Her mid-length red lace gown by Costarellos was paired with nude stilettos and a matching clutch – a perfect look for a sunny spring day.

Sarah Rafferty stayed true to the popular monochrome and veiling trend at the wedding. She celebrated her former co-star’s special occasion in a navy Lanvin gown with embellished bell sleeves. While her character on Suits never sports hats, her sophisticated wedding ensemble was paired with a matching headpiece by milliner Philip Treacy. The navy cap hugged her head, allowing for a thin layer of veiling to fall past her nose.

While the actress may not be on the show Suits, her real life husband, Patrick Adams, played Markle’s on screen husband. With her husband on her arm, Bellisario walked through Windsor in a cream bell sleeved dress with a keyhole cut out. The actress also chose to wear a veiled cream headband, which mimicked the flow of her brown bangs.

Jacinda Barrett

Jacinda Barrett, an actress herself, is married to Suits star Gabriel Macht. Barrett went with a maroon, cleavage-baring Emilia Wickstead dress for the royal event. A matching maroon headpiece rested on top of her soft, bouncy blonde curls. The headpiece, which was designed by Philip Treacy, featured crumpled veiling. And, while her husband did not don a hat for the occasion, he coordinated with Barrett by wearing a thick maroon tie.

Abigail Spencer

Known for her recurring role on the television series, Abigail Spencer went with a classic look for the ceremony. Designed by Alessandra Rich, Spencer’s pleated polka dot midi dress was unlike any other dress worn by attendees. Her updo was held together by a navy fascinator, whose fabric was expertly bundled to imitate roses.

While the Suits cast is used to wearing their finest business professional attire on set, they proved that British wedding fashion is in their vocabulary. And, although the Royal Wedding has come to a close, and the cast is swapping their handcrafted headpieces for episode scripts, their style and support for their friend has left its mark on history.
