Description
My happy place is my garden bursting with vibrant colours and watching the butterflies fluttering around and choose their flower. Flowers provide a happy positive energy for me and butterflies are so carefree,they always give me a lovely warm feeling watching them .When I saw the brief I knew exactly what I wanted to make from the start.
Techniques:
- Blocked large brim block and deep pillbox block in sinamay.
- Wired the large brim and turned under and sewed down.
- Sewed on lots of artificial flowers.
- Attached silhig around the outer edge by sewing it on.
- Added lining, pleated into place and sewed on.
- Added petersham band.
- Sewed on butterflies.
