Last September 2021, I visited Paris for participating to the opening ceremony of the exhibition of designer hats “The Hat as a Work of Art” dedicated to Carlit Faberge’s 175th anniversary. I was so excited and so happy to be in Paris. After my participation of London Hat Week in 2018, it was my second chance to be in part of this great ceremony as a designer.

When I was in Paris, I told myself that I should creating one headpiece related of Paris, something as a symbol. When I visited Eiffel Tower, I took lots of pictures around and under of the Tower, I analyzed it a lot by details. For me, Eiffel Tower is a great engineering art works.

When I saw the HATalk Competition theme, I decided to make creating my dream, my happy place. I really don’t know what extent my creation is similar as The Eiffel Tower, but I know it was so difficult to creating as a headpiece. I worked so hard, I thought a lot about of this creation for each part, how to decorate? How should I attach and etc.

Et voilà, I’m so happy to make my dream come true, this competition gave me the chance to designing a great artwork. Thank you so much for this theme.
