It is incredible that from a seed, earth and water beautiful complex life forms can emerge. I made this artichoke hat to celebrate the miracle of seed and soil and the amazing artforms nature creates. Biophilia -the love of life and all living things – is an important source of inspiration for my sculptural felted wearables.
