Earth Rejuve

Description

I chose to go with a Conservation theme for my piece named “Earth Rejuve”. Each colour of the piece has a specific meaning. The dark blue colour signifies Power and Responsibility, while the yellowish green signifies Illness or Decay and the pink, represents Youth, Nurturing and Harmony. The round button piece being the centre of the entire design, shows where it all starts from; it starts with Us (Humans) burdened with responsibility (dark blue) and caught in the vortex of our bad decisions and mismanagement of the earth’s resources (the green foliage-y swirl) leading to their depletion and the general distress of the earth (pale, faded green). Yet there is HOPE, for beyond it being our responsibility, it is also within our power(dark blue) to make sustainable choices that would maintain or rehabilitate the Earth’s ecosystem and to wit, Rejuvenate the Earth (symbolized by the mass of beautiful pink blooms).
