Description

When something falls into water, images of the movement of the water show us the rounded shape starting from the base, reducing as the water rises with the force of the movement.

These are the images that inspired me.

Techniques:

Three layers of sinamay are blocked on the wood’s hatblock.
Water-based stiffener was been applied after blocking.
Thread the wire throught the crinoline, and fixed to the base..
A crinoline frayed and shaped to represent the splash of water when something falls into the water.
Iridescent colored stass-cabochon of water reflections.
Embroidered straps to insert the headband (allowing it to be wear as desired depending on the hairstyle…)
The 3 mm metal headband is covered with a large grain (the color of the hair).
