2016 HATalk Competition Winners
The theme of the 2016 HATalk Hat Making Competition was ‘Connections‘
Hat makers were challenged to create an original hat or headpiece using the concept of ‘Connections’ as the starting point for their design. There were no restrictions on the materials or techniques that could be used.
The judging panel included Georgina Abbott of Atelier Millinery, Denise Innes-Spencer of The British School of Millinery and myself, HATalk Editor Becky Weaver.

1st Place: Anne Belyaeva (Australia)
Prize: 1-week Residential Millinery Workshop at Chateau Dumas in France.



4th Place: Stine Rudi Standal (Norway)
Prize: £25 voucher from How2hats and 1-year HATalk Subscription
