The theme of the 2016 HATalk Hat Making Competition was ‘Connections

Hat makers were challenged to create an original hat or headpiece using the concept of ‘Connections’ as the starting point for their design. There were no restrictions on the materials or techniques that could be used.

The judging panel included Georgina Abbott of Atelier Millinery, Denise Innes-Spencer of The British School of Millinery and myself, HATalk Editor Becky Weaver.
