Decorate your hats using festive holly leaves made with craft felt.

Projects / Felt Holly Leaves

Project Overview

This quick tutorial will teach you how to make felt holly so that you can use it to decorate your festive hats and fascinators.

You can use normal craft felt for this project. To reinforce the holly leaves and make them bendable, you will also need Bondaweb and wire.

For the berries, pre-made styrofoam berries or small beads will work well. Any colour will do as you will be using red nail polish to make them bright and shiny.

In the photo above, these felt holly leaves were used to trim an upcycled placemat hat. This looks great but we’re sure you can think of lots of other uses for these cute felt holly leaves as well.

This felt holly tutorial was written by Jane Fryers.
