Projects / Interchangeable Fabric Hatband

Project Overview

If you’re planning a trip and wondering how you’re going to find room for all of your hats, this project is for you!

In this tutorial, milliner Anél Heyman shares a helpful hack for getting multiple looks out of just one hat. Removable fabric hat bands will help you to pack light and are also a fabulous way to practice sustainable fashion.

“This is something simple but effective and can be great for travelling and wearing with many outfits,” says Anél. “I’ve recently taken some of these hatbands with me to Asia on our travels and they worked so well!”

Anél will show how to make a hatband, how to place and secure the clips and how to attach and remove the bands correctly.
