Projects / Mini Fascinator Veil

Project Overview

To make a veil in the traditional way, you should block it with steam. If you are in hurry and need to add some instant glamour to a headpiece, however, a quick and easy mini fascinator veil could be the perfect alternative.

When you want to add a touch of veiling elegance without covering the whole face, a mini veil can work really well. Plus, because you fold the veiling over to create a double layer for this style, you don’t have to worry about dealing with messy raw edges.

Once you’ve mastered the basic design, you can adapt this technique using different veil lengths, styles and colours as well.

This veiled headband project was written by London milliner Elena Shvab.
