Projects / Spotty Veil
Project Overview
Either as a feature or the main show, veils are the perfect way to add a little drama to your millinery. Spot veiling creates even more interest. While off-the-peg spot veiling is sold widely, knowing how to make your own gives you extra scope for bespoke creations
In this tutorial, Martine from Martine Henry Millinery demonstrates how to create a spotty veil from scratch and mount it on a headband. She will also share her method for drafting a handy pattern that makes it easy to replicate the veil.
