The creative mind behind Anél Heyman Designs, Anél creates beautifully handcrafted hats and headwear from her home studio in Brisbane, Australia. Having spent over 12 years perfecting her craft and learning from expert milliners around the world, Anél has developed her skills in traditional millinery as well as challenged herself with new materials and techniques to design unique and sophisticated headwear. In order to help keep this amazing craft alive, she also teaches a variety of local and international millinery workshops online and in person. Anél was the overall winner of the HATalk Competition in 2015 and 2021 and was invited to join the expert judging panel in 2023.
