Description

My entry interprets the Fusion because of the mix of materials l used. I used sinamay, metal and beading.

The fusion is challenging what a hat should look like and the way one might traditionally use sinamay.

Metal and sinamay is a fusion that we do not normally use for hatmaking. In my work l enjoy the process of fusing unlikely materials/textures together.

I also like the idea of challenging what a hat/fascinator should look like. Fusion of Drama and elegance.
