The 2020 HATalk Hat Making Competition Winners

The theme of the 2020 HATalk Hat Making Competition was Timeless and the challenge was to create an original hat or headpiece based on this concept. The competition was open to anyone, anywhere in the world, and was completely free to enter. A fantastic selection of prizes, valuing approximately $5,000 USD, was up for grabs.

After careful deliberation, our expert judges – Denise Innes-Spencer, Judy Bentinck and HATalk Editor Becky Weaver – chose the following hats as the First, Second, Third and Fourth Place Winners. A Public Prize Winner was then chosen through an online vote.

All five winning hats will be featured in the May Issue of HATalk e-magazine and will be included in the London Hat Week Exhibition 2020 – To the Future and Back from 8-11 October 2020.
