• HATalk Issue 73: 1 Hat Becomes 3 Fascinators

I wanted an old Hollywood glamour style fascinator so I had a 100% wool fabric I wanted to use cut from a vintage hat. I looked at the fascinator in HATalk from the fascinator workshop and liked the detail with the curly accent.

• I used 100% wool from a yellow vintage hat.
• I cut the fabric in the shape of a fascinator with a v shape.
• I trimmed the hat with black fabric.
• I used black netting for the veil. I used a brooch for the accent piece.

• 100% wool fabric from a vintage hat cut into a v- shape
• black trim for edging
• Black netting sewn on by sewing machine
• Brooch added on
• Strips of the wool fabric cut into pieces and twisted for accent
