- HATalk Issue 163: 3 Simple Sinamay Trims by Amy Fowler
Description
I only started millinery journey last year (2019) and first material that I was experimenting with was sinamay. Came across HATalk magazine issue about flower making and thought to try out. In the result of experimenting with this technique I wanted to achieve different, fuller look of the flower. So instead of using square shaped sinamay folded diagonally I tried to use triangle shapes instead.
Rest of the design was inspired by thoughts of spring and nature waking up. Blossom of flowers, birds singing, brighter mornings and warmer evenings. Happier times to look forward after very long lockdown across the world.
