Project Overview
No matter what materials you use to make hats, you will end up with scraps and remnants. Since millinery materials are not cheap, it is wise to save and store these scraps for later use. But what to do when your scrap bin starts overflowing?
Make some hat trims, of course!
One of the easiest hat trims that you can make is a simple sinamay bow. The bow in this tutorial was created from a 7” x 7” (18cm x 18cm) square of sinamay, but you can adapt it to work with whatever size square you have.
