Biots are the long, thin feathers found on the front edge of a bird’s primary wing feather. Goose biots are a very popular choice for making millinery trimmings and are sold in a wide array of dyed colours.

Making a biot feather flower shouldn’t take more than 60 minutes and shouldn’t cost much at all. Just like our biot feather bird project, this is a great way to use up damaged feather scraps. Try using multiple shades for a real blast of colour!
