Anne Tomlin began designing and making hats in 1985. By the end of the 80s she had founded Bailey Tomlin with textile designer Bridget Bailey and for almost 20 years they made hats under their own label and for many prestigious stores and designers.

Since then, Anne has been rediscovering her fascination with the natural world and now makes bespoke accessories, handmade flowers and hair adornments inspired by the wild flowers and bumble bees that surround her Southern English home. Anne teaches millinery and flower making at West Dean College and is a London Hat Week Masterclass tutor. She also runs specialised workshops in her home studio.
