I learned how to make the lily flowers through HATalk . I found them to be spectacular on their own as flowers but to create harmomy I added the easy rose that is also lovely in combination. The veiling crinoline is a nice addition to my piece which pulls it up together perfectly.

• Royal blue sinamay
• Yellow sinamay
• Crinoline
• 8 strings of 76 beads count -4mm of gold metal beads
• Steel wire
• Royal blue sizing
• 34 Size wire for the beads
• Royal Blue thread
• Hand needle
• Cresent wood block

• I wet two pieces of sinamay by spraying the with water, and let the piece dry
• I take the piece out from the block to trim the excess off
• I bead the golden metals into the creases of the block carefully by hands through the thread and the needle
• I put the wire into the edge of the piece and secure the wire with a blanket stich
• I added the sizing to cover the wire
• I prepare the crinoline veiling
• I make the stamen and flowers
• I put them all together harmoniously
