Projects / Double Bow Fascinator Project

Project Overview

This quick and easy fascinator project is just the thing when you need a stylish headpiece in a hurry.

The Double Bow Fascinator brings together two common millinery materials – sinamay for the top bow and spiral and veiling for the bottom bow. The two materials work together to create volume and movement.

You don’t need much of either material to make this fascinator and, since it can all be mounted on a simple headband, this project won’t break the bank. Any kind of sinamay or veiling will work, so experiment with different colours, textures and patterns and see what you can come up with!

This millinery tutorial was written by Elena Shvab.
