Make a fascinator out of sinamay petals with rolled edges.

Projects / Rolled Sinamay Fascinator

Project Overview

Rolling sinamay edges is not a complicated technique, but it is one that takes perseverance and hard work to truly master. Creating a neatly rolled sinamay edge is hard work and doesn’t happen without lots of practice.

Completing this Rolled Sinamay Fascinator tutorial is a great way to develop your millinery skills. After making an assortment of individual sinamay petals, and rolling the edges of each one, you will learn how to put them all together to make an interesting headpiece.

This tutorial was written by HATalk Founder Ann Morse-Brown and was originally published in her book, Make Fascinators.
