HATalk Archive Inspiration
- Beaded Flower Stamens Project by Ann Morse-Brown
Description
I have not been doing millinery very long. I joined Katherine Elizabeth Millinery Academy 3 months ago.
I took my inspiration from the beaded flower. I have been involved with jewellery making, sewing and adding beads to garments to make them unique. So I wanted to incorporate that into my hat
I absolutely love making hats and can't wait to make more. I love making bespoke items that you know nobody else will have.
My hat I have entered is made with Petersham sinamay and was not as stiff as some sinamay. I have sewn on small beads round the edge and also added a beaded flower.
