Ann was the author of over 30 ebooks on hat making subjects. She founded the Womborne School of Millinery in 2000, serving as the Course Director until it closed in 2007. The innovative hat making courses attracted hundreds of students from all around the world. Ann also founded How2hats and HATalk e-magazine and was the Senior Editor from 2006-2010. She passed away in 2021.
